Wind Advisory in Effect for Guilford County

A Wind Advisory has been issued for all of central NC today until 5 PM. A 4 to 6 hour period of sustained winds of 15 to 30 MPH, with gusts of 35 to 40 MPH will spread across the area this morning. The strongest winds will occur from now until 1 PM, with breezy conditions continuing into the afternoon.
