Winter Weather 2/18/2021 Update
Based on current and forecasted campus conditions, the University will continue to operate under Condition 2 of the adverse weather policy, until 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 19. The University campus will reopen and classes will resume at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19.
Under Condition 2: Suspended Operations:
- All classes (in-person, hybrid, and remote) scheduled to begin before 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19 are cancelled. All classes will resume beginning at 10 a.m.
- Mandatory staff report per regular schedule. FLSA non-exempt employees who are required to report on campus will be eligible for equal time off (ETO) in accordance with the Adverse Weather Policy.
- Non-mandatory staff currently teleworking or able to telework should maintain their normal work schedule, if possible. Supervisors are encouraged to allow teleworking when feasible.
- Non-mandatory staff are not to report and are required to leave campus if the campus moves to suspended operations during their workday. Campus buildings and offices will be closed until 10 a.m. Friday.
- If teleworking is not feasible, compensatory time/annual leave/bonus leave, or leave without pay should be used. With supervisory approval, staff may have 90 days to make up missed time.
